| In my artwork which mainly consists of installations, videowork and objects, I try to explore the area of tension between fragility and strength. Often I work with plants as a material because in my opinion they embody this symbolism very strongly. By starting to create a new work in an intuitive way by dint of experiment and composing elements, it often leads to contents which tell about grief, vulnerability, pain, power, manipulation and/ or stability. I try to confront the viewer with is own strengths and weakness, his own emotions and his being human. |
